OOPBuy QC request builder

Prepare the question before warehouse photos arrive so each requested image has a clear decision purpose.

Direct answerA useful QC request names the exact item and variant, one visible feature or measurement, the required camera angle or ruler placement and the decision the image will inform.

Use this request formula

Item + exact option + visible question + angle or measurement method + reference point.
Example structure: “For order [record], option [color/size], please photograph [visible area] straight-on in neutral light, with [edge/ruler/reference] fully visible.”

Request matrix

Decision Useful visible evidence Common limitation
Variant match Label, color, model mark and included parts in one sequence A label itself may be wrong or incomplete.
Size check Ruler or tape aligned from named endpoints Perspective and loose tape can distort a reading.
Surface condition Close, evenly lit image of the exact area Lighting can hide texture or color differences.
Shape / symmetry Centered front, rear, side and top views Camera angle can create apparent asymmetry.
Hardware / closures Close views plus opened and closed positions A still image cannot prove long-term durability.

What QC cannot establish

QC photos show visible information from a particular photographed item. They cannot prove authenticity, internal composition, odor, comfort, durability, seller reliability or the outcome of international shipping. A clear image is evidence of appearance, not a general quality certificate.

Approval note

Record each issue as accepted, unresolved or blocking. If a required angle or measurement is absent, keep it unresolved instead of interpreting silence as a pass.

QC questions

How many extra photos should I request?

Request only the minimum views needed to answer the unresolved decision. The count depends on the item and missing evidence.

Can QC photos prove authenticity?

No. They can document visible features of the photographed item but cannot establish authenticity or hidden construction.

Sources and limits

A public OOPBuy product page states that QC photos follow warehouse arrival and also presents an authenticity limitation. The request framework is independent editorial guidance.
