The item checkout and the international parcel checkout answer different cost questions. Keep one ledger that shows what is confirmed, conditional and still unknown at each gate.

Gate one: capture the order commitment
- Exact source URL, seller, item and selected option.
- Product amount after the option is selected.
- Seller-to-warehouse delivery shown at checkout.
- Platform, handling or optional-service charges shown as separate lines.
- Currency used, payment-provider amount and any conversion or transaction charge shown.
- Coupon or credit conditions and the final amount actually submitted.
- Return eligibility and deadline visible for that item at that time.
Do not publish or compare a fee that is not visible in the current checkout. A community screenshot may identify a question, but it does not establish the amount another user will pay.
Gate two: replace estimates with parcel evidence
Use the parcel assumption sheet when the warehouse provides measured weight and dimensions. Record the chargeable-weight method, eligible route, selected packaging or protection services, taxes or fees displayed and the final quote timestamp. Do not add an estimated shipping number to an actual order charge and label the result final.

Keep evidence without exposing payment data
Save the merchant name, order reference, date, currency, line-item totals, receipt and relevant policy snapshot. Do not place full card numbers, bank credentials, passwords or verification codes in a spreadsheet or support message. The US Federal Trade Commission recommends checking total cost and return terms and keeping transaction records; users outside the United States should also consult their own payment provider and local consumer authority.
Compare totals using the same boundary
Two quotes are comparable only when they use the same item and option, destination, currency treatment, measured or estimated status, parcel dimensions, route class and included services. A lower product price cannot establish a lower delivered total when later costs remain unknown.
Decision rule
Proceed when the current gate is fully recorded and remaining unknowns are acceptable. Compare when another route, service or candidate can be tested with the same inputs. Stop when the checkout differs materially from the saved record, a required cost is hidden or the payment destination cannot be confirmed.

Can this worksheet tell me the current OOPBuy fee rate?
No. It records the charges visible for your current order and parcel. This site does not publish an unverified or account-independent fee rate.
Can I use another user’s shipping total as my estimate?
Only as a question to investigate. Different dimensions, chargeable weight, destination, route, services and timing can produce a different total.
Sources and limits
A public OOPBuy product page separates payment for goods from later international shipping and states that seller-to-warehouse delivery can apply. The FTC online-shopping guidance supports checking total cost and return policies and retaining transaction records. Recent community shipping-cost discussion was used only as evidence of user concern, not as proof of a rate or platform-wide outcome.
