No. It organizes inputs and assumptions; the external service's current final quote controls the transaction amount.

Q: Is actual weight always the billed weight?

Not necessarily. Some routes may use dimensional or another chargeable-weight rule; check current route details.

A product price is not a delivered total. Build the parcel record from measured and current inputs instead of a copied estimate.

Separate four evidence classes

Parcel comparison fields

Destination country and postal region.
Actual parcel weight and all measured dimensions.
Chargeable weight displayed for each eligible route.
Route restrictions for the item type and destination.
Included insurance, tracking, signature and optional services.
Current currency, exchange context, taxes, fees and coupon conditions shown.
Final quote timestamp and checkout total before payment.

Do not copy another user’s total

Two parcels with similar products can have different packaging, dimensions, route eligibility, destination charges and timing. Community totals are useful questions, not transferable quotes.
